Today Is A Sad Day

"You know, the first time I saw you, I though you were smart", I was told some months back by this guy was dating. I didn't get offended, seriously. I'm well aware if that fact already. However, most everyone thinks im smart because I dress like a smart person. You'll often see me in oxford shirts, khaki capris, with matching pearls. Sometimes, to further intensify the "smarty look" I go as far as wearing eyeglasses (eyen if both my eyes still properly functions). But the truth is, im not smart, at all. Just intelligent. And bright. And clever. Yeah, that’s me. Hehehe! Kidding aside, I’m telling you, you’d be just be fooling yourself if you continue to think of me as someone intelligent. I am sooo not! And that’s probably the reason why the kids like me a lot. Cause we have the same wavelength, same I.Q. But on second though, they probably have higher I.Q’s.

Case in point: today I got into this debate with my student. I showed him a round object and asked if it was a circle. Audric said “NO!”. I told him that it was. Then he was like “but it’s a CYLINDER!”. Right. How sad, my four year old student is way smarter than me =(
